My buddy and I were on a motorcycle trip from Huntington to Kooskia and my buddy had a badly dry rotted and sun-checked tire cupping in the front of his Harley Softail Duece. We called ahead to Harley Davidson and reserved the parts over the phone and were told they would get us right in as long as we made it there before 5pm the following day so we bid farewell to our friends in Kooskia the next day and slowly moseyed on down the road. When we got to Harley Davidson we went to counter and they were rude saying they closed at 6pm it was only little after 3p all they had to do was change a FRONT tire that was already paid for.. ended up having employees while we were waiting for them acting like we were gonna steal something or hold the place up. Guess tattoos and earrings on bikers isnt normal in Lewiston. Not too sure that I care to talk about that but long story short(er), no tire after heated debate on lack of proper business practices at Harley Davidson in Lewiston as they didnt have the tire in stock and we asked them to visually touch the tire on the shelf as we didnt plan on going through Lewiston on way home. So they sold us a tube and a liner for $115 and I got refunded the price of the tire. We then traveled to I believe it was Yamaha after sitting in parking lot and locating a tire. We picked it up threw it over shoulder and went back to Harley to see if they would install it. Not even for an extra 100$ said they had wedding they were closing early for funny we didnt hear of this the day before but good for you congrats fairwell so we were not in good standing on getting out of Lewiston and it was getting later. I was riding an Indian Scout and was thumbing through places to find a shop figuring likely for the next day.. well Ill be damned if I didnt stumble upon Guys Outdoor Motorsprorts/Indian. I called them on the phone and told them we had a Harley that needed the aforementioned had the tire and the liner and tube. Now before I tell you that these guys got us in and out of there in just a little over an hour and they charged 70$ to install the tire. Know that Boise Indian would have charged $300 to change one tire and you would have to wait 3 hours for them to get it done after waiting 3 weeks for an appointment. Not because they have the volume because they are in the city but because their service department is poorly managed, crooked, careless, and shottyand the owners of Harley own the Indian dealership in the same parking lot and in my assumption must make Indian look bad to make Harley look good. Which isnt working, nor is it any of my business. I digress (quite often really) So after MY PEOPLE took care of the problem fast, efficiently, and with healthy smiles, recommendations on where to ride, local lodging in case we decided to stay in Lewiston for the night. They also fed us some jerky someone there had made and made sure we were hydrated. 5 stars for these Guys not enough! So, when I got rid of my Scout last year and bought a brand new Springfield (regretfully from Boise Sawtooth Indian (not Brad, hes a decent man) that after multiple times of being hammered by their service department, parts falling off my bike after they work on it, and marking bolts to see if the service was actually getting done.. which it was not. Ive decided it is well over twice the value to take your $30k machine 5 hours to the North.. to a little town called Lewiston, where they still have values and principles, decency.. and hold true to their word with a friendly smile and a firm handshake. Parts after hitting a pothole on my new Springfield were $300 cheaper and I didnt have to wait 4 days to get a call back from the Service Dep. Guys got the Rim and Tire ordered and shipped and received the same time that it took my ex-Dealership which I bought the bike from in Boise to give me a call back to see if they could get me to prepay $1400 for the parts they were in hot water for ordering in a last effort desperately trying to force me into sticking with their shop after I waited 4 days to get a call back after leaving 5 messages and calling from 2 different numbers Thursday Friday and finally fed up Saturday calling (on the half hour) from noon to closing. My bike needed to be done by this Saturday and Boise waited until Tuesday from last Thursday to get my parts on the way. All I wanted to do was call them and pay for the parts so they would order them so my appointment Saturday would have parts waiting for me. Allowing me to make it to my brothers birthday. Crickets Now, positivity.. My parts will be here in the morning at Lewiston waiting for me to just drive there for less the money of the fuel/lodging saved in not overpricing their parts.(in Boise at Sawtooth Indian $750 for oil change $600 to install 10 miniapes on scout w/o running wires through bars. Ive went 40k miles on my Indians in two years spent $40k on bikes, Boise has zapped me installing two accessories and servicing my two bikes less than times and Ive have paid them $15k in service and they cant even answer the phone or return a call after multiple messages when I really needed my dedication to my dealership to give something back just doing their job is all I asked!) This work will now through Guys, be done properly and I will have that piece of mind knowing that whatever the road throws at me that MY PEOPLE at GUYS now got it handled. Riding bikes is not cheap and I expect certain things that I want the luxury of not working on (as I turn wrenches on everything else) to be a little more as its not a common skill to have, but be done with pride in skill and dedication to my safety. You dont get that in Boise not in the least. I cant remember everyones name from the year ago tire change here at Guys. Not sure what happened to my review from then but I do remember leaving one. (Probably not enough storage on the server to hold it. lol!) Ill post another novel after they get it done to let you know if they lived up to my expectations. Either way nothing can be worse than what I have endured elsewhere. -Backwoods (Employee: Mike Buttenhoff, Janie Schaefer)

We recently purchased a new Polaris Ranger from Guy's Outdoor Motorsports. The team was awesome to work with when picking up our new purchase. We worked closely with Matt and we couldn't be any more grateful for the way he did business with us. This experience was the best we have had and we are so appreciative that our neighbor recommend them for any motorsports purchases. (Employee: Matt James)
